Job Title: Fullstack Developer (Python or Laravel)

Job Location: Remote

As an ambitious small business growing fast, we’re seeking a Fullstack Developer (Python or Laravel) with a strong eye for clean, modern design and the ability to translate project ideas into engaging and functional projects. The ideal candidate will be able to balance technical expertise with creative design sensibilities and will have a deep understanding of WordPress structure, themes, and plugins.

What you’ll achieve

• You’ll build new projects & features from start to finish
• You’ll help improve performance and reliability, debug or polish existing features.
• You’ll build internal tools to help improve team productivity

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain fullstack applications using Laravel or Python frameworks.
• Build clean, efficient, and user-friendly interfaces with attention to modern design principles.
• Translate project concepts into practical solutions that align with business goals.
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality results.
• Ensure applications are optimized for performance, security, and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews.
• Write, and integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services seamlessly.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in fullstack development.
• Stay updated with relevant tech trends, tools, and best practices.

Skills & Experience

You have 2 – 3 years of experience as a Fullstack Developer with Python or Laravel:

• You have proven experience with a portfolio of clean, well-designed projects, and a strong understanding of Fullstack development, and best practices.

You’re pragmatic and business-oriented:

• You’re able to capture abstract project ideas and translate them into practical web solutions, and you care about the business impact of what you’re building, and understand the balance between craft, speed, and the bottom line.

You put users first:

• You think critically about the implications of what you’re building, how it shapes the user experience, and strive to meet or exceed the clients’ expectations.

Required:

• Proven experience as a Fullstack Developer with Laravel or Python (Django preferably).
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue, Flutter, etc. Flutter is desired.
• Solid grasp of backend development, RESTful APIs, and database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS, or Azure)
• Ability to capture abstract project ideas and translate them into functional applications.
• Experience working in collaborative environments with agile methodologies.
• Strong design sensibility and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and website performance optimization.
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for clean, functional design.
• Open-minded and continuous willingness to learn.
• AI savvy and willingness to explore the use of different AI tools to enhance productivity.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

These could be a plus:

• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles.
• Familiarity with how CMSs work.
